Participants learn about the additive manufacturing fundamentals, explore various materials and methods, and discover how to translate their artistic visions into tangible 3D printed artworks. The workshop aims to expand the participants’ toolsets, encouraging them to innovate and experiment with new forms of expression within their art.
This introductory course provides emerging artists with a solid foundation in digital imaging. Participants will explore the differences between vector and raster graphics, understand color modes for print and screen, and learn essential tools for digital creation. Key concepts include working with layers, brushes, image resolution, transparency, opacity, and masking. The course emphasizes practical workflows and intercompatibility between common graphic design and imaging software. By the end of the program, participants will be able to create, edit, and export digital artworks optimized for both digital publishing and print production.
Participants learn how to use computer vision and AI to innovate their artwork, either in Performative Art or literary Art (online/ offline).
Participants learn to harness the power of sentiment analysis, NLP, eye trackers, and cameras to enhance Performative or Literary Art, whether online or offline
Participants learn about the subtractive manufacturing fundamentals, explore various materials and methods, and discover how to translate their artistic visions into tangible artworks combining multiple technologies and materials. The workshop aims to expand the participants’ toolsets, encouraging them to innovate and experiment with new forms of expression within their art
The workshop is designed to introduce the principles of XR/VR technology to students with a creative background. Participants will learn the fundamental concepts of VR, including 3D scene creation, spatial design, interactivity, and basic VR hardware and software platforms. The course will cover the workflow for building VR applications using Unity and the XR Interaction Toolkit, including importing and arranging 3D assets, lighting, audio, teleportation, and object interaction. Students will gain hands-on experience designing their own VR environments and applying interactivity to create immersive artistic experiences. By the end of the module, students will be able to conceptualize, build, and present a simple VR application that reflects their creative vision.

The course aims at introducing some aspects of light and light-matter interaction that is relevant for non-technical learners with affinity for simple programming and electronics. The course covers the basics of light and color perception by human eye, color temperature, some basic metrics for light used in lighting design, light sources with their advantages and limitations, and a practical project that involves light and light control. Participants will experiment with wave properties of light including diffraction, interference, polarization and will be inspired to explore how they can be applied creatively in art. No technical prerequisites are necessary for the course, but some common sense and willingness to learn is expected. The course is intended for art and design students, photographers, architects and other interested.
Participants learn to become friends with the entrepreneurial aspect of their work, as they are responsible of securing the best results for their efforts. As creatives, artists struggle with management, administrative, and legal informations. To these issues we can add the need of funding. The entrepreneurship workshop comes to answer those bothering issues regarding Business Modelling, Product and Innovation Management, Go-to-Market Strategy, Communication, Intellectual property, Legal.
In the “IOT Sensors in Performative Art” workshop, participants delve into the creative realm of sensor applications in performances. Exploring haptic technology and not only, the workshop bridges the analog and digital worlds, offering a hands-on experience to integrate sensory elements into their artistic expressions.
Your creative collaboration tool
The Creative Nexus is the digital heart of the TECA project – an online platform built to connect artists across Romania, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Its mission is to spark cross-border collaboration, showcase innovative digital and traditional art, and create a continuous exchange between creatives, cultural organizations, and tech communities.
TECA is a regional creative program connecting artists from Romania, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina to co‑create new works blending traditional and digital practices.
Artists from all disciplines—visual, digital, performing, craft‑based, interdisciplinary—who are open to collaboration and experimentation.
At least 9 international teams will be created through the Creative Nexus platform and workshops, mixing artists from the three partner countries.
Collaborative artworks that combine traditional techniques (craft, analog methods, physical materials) with digital tools (AR/VR, 3D printing, robotics, multimedia, interactive design, etc.).
Teams get:
In three major exhibitions, one in each partner country (Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina), reaching both local and international audiences.
No. Participation, mentorship, and exhibition activities are covered by the project.
Through an open call focusing on: motivation, collaboration potential, and diversity of practices.Â
